Day 75 - Plus de Chateaux

We all slept in a little bit this morning, which felt so nice. Then we went down for breakfast. Well, as Courtney opened the door, she saw another note! It said, "hi, we would like to keeping touch with you no; GREGORY.CARLOS@ee.ufcg.edu." So funny! Anyway, breakfast was great. Etap hotels may not be the best, but I like their breakfasts. Then we walked to the Blois Chateau.

hehe

Coolest staircase ever.
The plain building in the center of the picture is from Medieval times.
These two wings are from... I can't remember exactly, but between Medieval times and the Renaissance.
I accidentally didn't get a picture of this entire wing, but this is the Renaissance wing.
And this is the wing from Louis XV's time. I think. Man it is hard to remember all these details!
Welsh Rugby team. It was freezing. I don't really know how they were rocking shorts and sandals without dying.

This is our guide. He's American, even though he's been living here since he was 20.

A movie was filmed here and this is a prop from it.
Up inside the newest and never completed wing (Louis XV).

Then to the amazing Chambord Chateau! It is the largest one. It was actually just a hunting lodge.

Double staircase in the center.

My self-portrait :)

For you Mel :)

Playing on the double staircase :)

We boarded the bus after this and headed home. It has been a crazy awesome weekend, but it is good to be home now!
