Day 49 - Like a Parisian

It was very difficult getting up this morning after staying up so late last night. We didn't have to get up early, but we decided to so that we could get some things fit in before our evening appointment at the Louvre. We went to Notre Dame first to see the interior. Then we went to Shakespeare & Co across the bridge. I love that place. We just relaxed and read a bit. It was so nice. I read Matilda. Roald Dahl is weird, but I love him. Then we went to the Opera house. We tried to get ballet tickets, but they don't have any ballets showing within the time we are here. Then we tried to see the inside, but it was closed for rehearsals. Oh well. We were told to come again, some time before 10, so we'll have to do that :) After that, we separated. I went with Tabitha to the church so that she could print off her Disneyland tickets. I was able to talk to the Stover's for a few minutes, which was really fun. Then we went and got a crepe. Nutella + hot sen = a very bad and messy idea. It was quite difficult to eat. But fun :)

Then off to the Louvre, a little early so that we could use the internet. Then we went to class. We went through Italian and French art.
Looking at the Mona Lisa.

Whew. It was seriously exhausting. I am going to need serious recouping once I get back home! Anyway, then we went outside and were welcomed by this beautiful sunset!

Back to the hotel. Fun ride on the RER. We were labeling each other with paintings. Good times. On our way out, this crazy guy, who we had seen earlier in the Mac store, leaned in towards us and said "Woman. I need you." Creepy. Elisabeth and I ran to the tram to get to the hotel. Eugh freaky guys. Won't miss them.

And that's all for the evening!
