Day 41 - Bruxelles

We left Bruges this morning. It was sad because it really is such a beautiful place! But we needed to move on. And on we went to Brussels. Because we weren't staying the night there, we had to put our backpacks in huge lockers inside the train station. Then we went into the city. For class, we went to the Museum of Fine Arts. We were there for so long! And it was a little bit random because the set up had been changed since Martha had been there last. But it was good. Then we walked back to the main square.

Funny chair.

After getting some food, we walked around some more then got chocolate at Leonidas. It is amazing!

And that was all the time we had for this city. So we headed back to the train station to get our stuff. Unfortunately one locker hadn't been completely closed when we left. An extraordinarily kind person closed it and paid for it but not before some other person had decided to steal Cassandra and Mckell's bags. Cass' got found eventually with Mckell's bag in it, but all of Mckell's stuff was gone, including her journal that she's had since she was fifteen. Sadness :( Then we headed back to PARIS! I knew I'd be excited to be back but I'm so happy to be here. I understand where to go. I feel at home. I feel comfortable. I feel nostalgic. I love Paris! Because it was quite late, we just went to the hotel and turned in for the night.

Beautiful, amazing, wonderful pics of the city!! Such cool buildings and skylines, and contrasts between the old and the modern!
