Day 23 - Bitte

After a pleasant night and waking up to sunshine, I woke up, got ready, then updated my blog for a while (on word, of course, because the internet is not so good). After that, we all headed to church. We went to the English ward and it started at 1:30, which is probably the latest starting church in all of Europe. Maybe ;) Sacrament meeting was pretty standard. Then to Gospel Doctrine. We talked about Balaam. It was a very interesting lesson. Relief Society was next, if you couldn't guess. I volunteered at the beginning of the lesson and I had to hold a picture of a prophet. I got President Benson. We went around in a circle and had to talk about our prophet for a little bit. It just so happens that I did my religion paper on him last semester (do you remember??) so I had good things to say :) I love the prophets! After all that, we got fruit snacks. Yummy.

After church, we had to leave fast so we could make it to the Butterfly House that Tabitha wanted to go to so badly. We weren't sure where to go, but the two boys from the Vienna Study Abroad helped us. They were quite friendly. I love BYU :) The boys, William and Chip, led us to the tram which took us to the u-bahn. Since it wasn't too out of their way, they came out and showed us which direction to take in order to get to the butterfly house. It was kind of embarassing, but I think we were 'damsels in distress' and I don't think they minded too much. They even invited us to FHE tomorrow night. Anyway, we finally got to the Butterfly house. We thought it was closed at first, but we walked around and finally found the entrance. Happy day. It was really cool inside and I was able to get some really good pictures.
Butterflies waiting to be.

Elisabeth and Claire enjoying the butterflies.

It really was a nice sunday activity. Then we went out into the rain where my umbrella got completely pulverized. The wind literally pushed it backwards then folded it in half! Craziness. Once we got back to the hotel, I took some pictures. They do not do justice.

Oh man. Because we had time before bed, Elisabeth and I watched previews for the TV show Modern Family. HILARIOUS! I really want to watch an episode but I shall have to wait until I get home for that I think.

And by the way, Elisabeth lost all her yogurts during the day, two plummeted to the ground and the other had a peck through it. Silly bird. Mine are still safe :) I guess he learned his lesson when he ran into my window. We shall see.

Wow! The butterfly house looks awesome! And the poor, poor umbrella, someone needs to make stronger umbrellas!
