Mirror: $5, Hooks that hook over the door: $2.44, Ribbon: $0.47, Getting exactly (mostly) what you want and accomplishing a goal: Priceless :)

The reason why I did it. In Springville, I had four mirrors surrounding me when I did my hair. Crunching that down to one was a bit difficult for me. When I straightened my hair, I used my compact as a mirror to see the back of my head. It worked, but it wasn't very efficient. It was so awesome to be able to use my contraption this morning!!

Perfect! I am still going through withdrawls from not being able to see the back of my hair! I really need to figure something out one of these days

Something I didn't include was that it took FOREVER to find the hooks. I looked all over the home area of walmart. It took the third employee I asked to tell me that they were in decorating!

Oh man...one of the first things I missed about moving from home...those mirrors to see the back...Mom and Dad were sure smart to put those mirrors up!!! I have them up...I still plan to put on in the girls bathroom, but for now, they don;t use it for hair...so a little down the road i will.

Day 21 - Class, Louvre, FHE

Class was good today. I had French 102 and Religion. Not bad. After that, I headed to the Louvre with Haley and Chelsea. I didn't bring my SLR with me because it wouldn't fit, so I took my point and shoot. Wow. What a difference. I knew I loved my SLR, but not I really love my SLR! I didn't take any good pictures, but I'll tell you that I did see Charles I Dismounted by Van Dyck. That was pretty exciting. I love to see paintings that I recognize. After we chilled at the Louvre for a while, we headed out (well, we lost Chelsea and found Richard) to the Ricks' place. We were a little early so we went to see the Eiffel Tower. We saw it all lit up. It was pretty awesome. Then off to the Ricks'. We played a charade-type game for FHE and it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed myself. Ordinateur Portable

My Favorite Things #38/365 I have had this laptop since I was 14 years old. I cease to be amazed at how long it has lasted! The keys don't look like they've hardly been used (even though they have been used A LOT) and it has rarely given me any trouble! It is very useful to have the laptop here at my apartment. I use it every day. I don't know what I would do without it!! It isn't very portable, but that's alright. I don't really want to take notes in class on a computer, so there really isn't any need to move it, at least not for now.
