Chargé

So sorry for those who like to read my blog, but I just don't have a lot of time to update! Even as we speak, I should be finishing the outlines for my art history midterm, writing a composition in French, and writing an annotated bibliography on a research paper for which I have found about 2 sources (I need 8). Awesome. If anyone wants to bring me cookies, please do.

Acne Cream

My Favorite Things #43/365 I LOVE this stuff! I just put a thin layer on a zit and within a day or two, it is gone. I also put it in other areas to keep zits from coming and they pretty much stay away. The tube on the right lasted me around two years! It really is great stuff. It's about $7, but when you think about how long it lasts, that really isn't a big price to pay. I recommend it 110%.

My Roommates

My Favorite Things #42/365 Tonight, my roommate Reesa made no-bake cookies for her boyfriend Josiah, who is in the MTC. Just a little insight into what really goes into these cookies! An entire stick of butter with two cups of sugar. Yum... Mixing in the peanut butter and cocoa. With Oatmeal. No-bake cookies! This is Reesa. This is Reesa's heart-shaped cookie for Josiah. This is my room-roommate Taalin, eating a delicious no-bake cookie.

Plasma today

So I knew I had a busy day ahead of me so I decided to do plasma in the morning. I got up at 6 am (well 5:30 because my mind likes to wake me up before I actually planned to get up...), got ready, and headed to PCCI. It was a little slow, but I finally got called into the booth for screening. There were some changes to the AIDS bulletin so I was asked a few questions (the ones they ask you when you are a new donor). I finished that and right as I was about to sign it, the lights went out. The girl screening me told me to go out and sit down until they figured it out. Well it turns out the whole block is out, even the main street-lights by the mall (glad I wasn't a part of that mess). Luckily, no one had been poked yet. One guy was in the back and was 2 seconds away from being poked when the lights went out. The reason for them being slow this morning was because it was too cold in the building to get everything started. If it had been warm enough, several people might have been stu

Fresh Spaghetti

My Favorite Things #41/365 Nothing can beat spaghetti right out of the pot with butter and salt. Mmm... Since I've moved out, I have had spaghetti every other day pretty much. I love it! And as I was searching through pictures, I found this. Mel might be mad, but I think it is hilarious!!

iPod Clock/Alarm/Radio/Charger/etc...

My Favorite Things #40/365 I got this iPod dock for my birthday this year. It is great! It plays music from my iPod with clear sound that can go higher than I'd ever want it to go. It also play the radio. I use it every morning to wake me up. Waking up to the Mario theme song is fine (on my phone), but it really is so much better to be woken up by a different song each morning. It also charges my iPod, which I don't really need since I only listen to it on this dock (because Andy stole my earphones...). Oh, and it tells me the time :)
